Just minutes ago, the Hawks might have wrapped up their offseason by re-signing Lou Williams.
Free agent guard Lou Williams has agreed to a deal to return to the Atlanta Hawks, his agent Wallace Prather of @parlay_se tells @TheAthletic @Stadium.

According to Charania, the deal is for one year and $5 million. The Hawks didn’t have to use any type of mid-level exception on Williams because they had his bird rights. Regardless, I don’t expect them to do much more — if anything — after this move. Williams rounds out the Hawks point guard group, and he should battle with Delon Wright for minutes behind Trae Young.
Before the offseason, I called for the Hawks to do one thing — run it back. They have done just that this offseason by bringing back John Collins, Lou Williams, and others. Under Nate McMillan, this group is talented enough to compete for the top seed in the East, and they should once again be a force come the postseason.
