According to Chris Kirschner, Lloyd Pierce said that Danilo Gallinari is improving but didn’t give a timetable for his return.
Lloyd Pierce said Danilo Gallinari is moving well and moving better. He doesn't know a timeline on when he might be back just yet.

The three biggest offseason acquisitions — Bogdan Bogdanovic, Kris Dunn, and Gallinari — are all currently unavailable due to injury. It seems Gallo will be the first of them to return, and it couldn’t come at a better time. The Hawks have struggled ever since news got out about John Collins’ confrontation of Trae Young. The two stars in Atlanta are clearly butting heads, and they need veterans to settle the noise.
Gallo’s offensive capabilities will be a welcome sight. His ability to pick and pop with Trae will surely spread the floor for others like De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish. But I think the stability he brings as a veteran is what’s needed more. Kris Dunn will return in the coming weeks and will improve the team’s defense tremendously; then in a month, Bogdan will be back — hopefully joining a more cohesive unit.
