Even after a nine month layoff, the Hawks have been bitten by the injury bug early this season. Clint Capela, Onyeka Okungwu, Rajon Rondo, and Kris Dunn have all missed the first two games of the season, and the latter will not return before the new year. The Hawks announced yesterday that Dunn will undergo arthroscopic ankle surgery and will be re-evaluated on December 30th.
An @emoryhealthcare injury update:
Kris Dunn is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery to remove the loose cartilage in his right ankle on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at the Hospital of Special Surgery.

There is currently no timetable for his return. I imagine that will be provided when the Hawks update his status on Wednesday. Atlanta takes the floor tonight in their home opener looking for their third straight win to begin the season.
