The Hawks made a pretty devastating announcement just before Game 1 when they declared De’Andre Hunter would not be playing because of knee soreness. It was a shock to me because Hunter played in all five games against the Knicks and appeared to be a little more healthy each time out. He capped off the series with 15 points in 35 minutes. I didn’t think there would be any substantial issues with his knee moving forward. I was wrong, but there is a chance he could return for Game 2 tomorrow night.
De’Andre Hunter will be a game time decision for Game 2. #Hawks #76ers

Luckily, the Hawks were able to survive his absence and win Game 1, but his health is paramount to this team advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals or even further. We’ll keep you updated with his status leading up to game time.
