The Hawks aren’t messing around in free agency, but this signing comes with a catch:
Restricted free agent Bogdan Bogdanovic is expected to sign an offer sheet with the Atlanta Hawks when free agency begins, a source tells @Sportando

He’s been linked to Atlanta since before the draft. However, since Bogdanocvić is a restricted free agent, Sacramento will have a chance to match Atlanta’s offer sheet. With a failed sign and trade already in the mix, I’m not sure they will. Hopefully not, because Bogdan is a heck of a player. He clocked in on my Free Agent Wishlist — and for good reason.

There was a sign and trade to Milwaukee in place, but the Kings forgot one thing — Bogdanović never agreed to it. Now it’s reported that Atlanta is a front-runner for him.
Bogdanović makes way too much sense for the Hawks; he’s a walking bucket. His defense is pretty average, but he’d thrive off of dimes from Trae Young.
There’s no telling what the contract will look like, but I imagine it will eat up a hefty part of Atlanta’s space. The 28 year old Serbian deadeye will join a rising Hawks wing rotation, and fans should be very excited if Sacramento chooses to not match Atlanta.
