The inconsistent Hawks have been a major disappointment this season after acquiring Dejounte Murray during the offseason. They have some talented pieces, but their lack of shooting and depth is holding them back, something that doesn’t look like it may be fixable. The good news is Bogdan Bogdanovic could be back within the next few games, according to Hawks GM Landry Fields.
Bogdan Boganovic should return in the next few games.

When healthy, Bogdanovic can play at an All-Star level, and he’s by far the best pure shooter on the Hawks roster. He averaged 15.1 points per game last season and is a career 38.4% shooter. Adding him to the mix should do wonders, but I’m going to temper my expectations.
Bogdanovic has had lingering knee issues his entire Hawks tenure. They are going to take things slowly with him once he returns to avoid another problem. And even with him in the mix, the Hawks still lack shooting and might need to blow up this roster regardless. John Collins, Clint Capela, and Bogdanovic have all been the subject of trade rumors early this season, with Bogdanovic apparently being the most available — which is strange, considering this is the worst three-point shooting team in The Association.
With that being said, hopefully Bogi can bring enough to the table to end these inconsistencies we’ve seen from the Hawks so far this season.
