After cruising to a win over the Pistons on Monday, the Hawks head to New Orleans to face the Pelicans in the first game of a road back-to-back. Tomorrow, they will take on the Wizards in Washington before the schedule really begins to toughen up.

That is about as tough as it gets, folks. Outside of the Wizards, all of those teams have legitimate championship aspirations. The Hawks also embark on their first Western Conference road trip of the season. It won’t be easy, but it will be a fantastic measuring stick to see just where this Atlanta team is early in the season.
