The Hawks have been linked to Rudy Gobert several times over the last couple of months, and a recent report as revealed a potential trade package. According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Hawks are considering a move in which they would trade a combination of John Collins, Clint Capela, Kevin Huerter, and the 16th overall pick for Rudy Gobert.
There has been plenty of talk among league personnel that some combination of Capela, John Collins, Kevin Huerter and the No. 16 pick could be routed to Utah for the three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
It’s difficult for me to evaluate the potential trade because I’m not sure what the trade package would look like. However, another NBA executive did say the asking price for Gobert is “pretty astronomical.”
The Utah Jazz reportedly want a star-caliber player, a young prospect and picks in a trade package for Rudy Gobert, per @SeanDeveney

Gobert may not be the sexiest name in the NBA, but there’s no questioning that he will add a lot of wins to whatever team he joins. If the Hawks were to land him for Capela, Huerter, and the 16th pick, they would be getting a lot better. However, they would still have a lot of work to do to become legitimate championship contenders, and I’m not sure that would be enough to pry Gobert away from the Jazz.
