Right after losing Arik Gilbert to the transfer portal, Georgia adds another weapon in the form of Mississippi State transfer Rara Thomas:

Thomas was a big time deep threat in Mike Leach’s offense, averaging 14.2 yards per catch and hauling in seven touchdowns. At 6’2 and 200 pounds, the sophomore provides a lot of size to a Georgia wide receiver room that was lacking it at times without AD Mitchell.

Thomas is going to fit right into this UGA offense that loves to pick their deep shots, and he’ll be in good company alongside AD Mitchell, Brock Bowers, and Ladd McConkey in 2024. Georgia may not be done, as they are still involved with Missouri transfer Dominic Lovett.
