Las Vegas doesn’t waste much time setting action for the future, and with Ohio State winning the national championship last night, win totals for the most prominent teams in college football are now on the board for next season, including the Georgia Bulldogs.
Kirby Smart is coming off one of the most underwhelming seasons of his already storied career in Athens, which is remarkable given the Bulldogs still won an expanded SEC with the most difficult schedule in the country. However, the team just wasn’t as dominant as in years past. The Bulldogs trailed in most of their games and featured a rushing attack that went dormant at times. It was the worst Georgia offensive line in quite some time, and the wide receiver play added to the issues on that side of the ball.
The Bulldogs will try and get back to their roots next season, but it won’t get any easier with so much turnover on both sides of the ball. Starting at quarterback, with Gunner Stockton going into the offseason as the top option. However, Georgia will also have to replace four starting offensive linemen as well as a ton of production on the defensive side, particularly in their front seven.
However, the Georgia Bulldogs do not rebuild; they reload, which is why Vegas still has their win total for next season set at 9.5.
Georgia Bulldogs Win Total (Odds via FanDuel)
Over 9.5 wins: -205
Under 9.5 wins: +158

This is the lowest win total there has been for Georgia in a long time, which is going to attract a ton of bettors to the over. However, it’s important to note their schedule might be even harder in 2025.

This is up there with the most difficult schedules I have ever seen. Playing at Tennessee is never easy, even if the Bulldogs have made it look easy in recent years, and Auburn always seems to find a way to make things crazy on the Plains.
However, the good news is most of Georgia’s tough games come at home, unlike this past season. Alabama will travel to Athens as the Bulldogs attempt to get that monkey off their back. Georgia will also be looking for revenge over Ole Miss, who gave the Bulldogs one of their worst beatings in quite some time this past season. Texas will travel to Athens as well and will likely enter next season as the #1 team in the country.
Another couple of games that cannot be overlooked: Florida could be a problem next season with DJ Lagway at quarterback, and that’s already a heated rivalry. Georgia Tech is also an ascending program under head coach Brent Key, who gave Georgia all it could handle and then some just a couple of months ago.
There aren’t many gimmes on that schedule. If the Georgia Bulldogs find their way to 10 wins, they’ll have earned it on their way to another College Football Playoff berth.
