The Falcons are still scouring the free-agent market, and rightfully so. Atlanta has one of the worst rosters in the league, and it’s not going to get better overnight from the 2022 draft class. Most recently, the Falcons have their eyes on Vincent Taylor and will host the former Texans defensive lineman on a visit, according to Tom Pelissero.
Free-agent DT Vincent Taylor is visiting the #Falcons, per source. Taylor started for the #Texans Week 1 last season before suffering a season-ending ankle injury.

The 28-year-old started Week 1 for Houston last year before a season-ending ankle injury knocked him out for the year. A former sixth-round pick by the Dolphins in the 2017 NFL draft, Taylor has been a journeyman of sorts.
After being cut by the Dolphins in his third season, he signed to the Bills’ practice squad, where he remained for much of the year before being elevated to the active roster late in the season. He was then waived by Buffalo and subsequently picked up by Cleveland, where he appeared in 15 games during the 2020 season.
Since 2017, Taylor has played in 40 games, totaling 65 tackles, two sacks, and four quarterback hits. He’s a mammoth of a man (6-3, 311) and would effectively challenge Anthony Rush to replace the recently released Tyeler Davison.
