According to AJC’s David O’ Brien, Freddie Freeman is expected to head to the 15-Day Disabled List:
#Braves Freeman expected to be 15-day DL'd today, retroactive to last Thursday, day after his last game. Terdoslavich would take roster spot

Freeman injured his wrist against the Mets and hasn’t played since last Wednesday. The DL move will be retroactive from the 18th. Freeman is having another great season, but it’s good to see the franchise be cautious with our franchise player. Wrist injuries tend to have lingering effects, and after looking at the MRI last night the team decided he needed to rest up. This is certainly a disappointment to many Braves fans, especially with a big series against Washington starting Tuesday night. The Braves’ offense simply isn’t the same without Freeman in the lineup, and the others are going to have to pick up the slack if they want to stay in the race. Freeman is hitting .299 with 12 homers and 41 RBI this season. Joey Terdoslavich will get the call up, and he is a capable first baseman. Chris Johnson and Kelly Johnson are also likely candidates to receive starts at first.
