Former Braves pitcher Brandon Beachy making baseball comeback

Brandon Beachy broke into the league with so much promise when he got the call in 2010. Unfortunately, two Tommy John Surgeries during his time with the Braves limited him from reaching his full potential and ultimately ended up in a short but sweet stint with the Braves that only allowed him to make 46 starts over four seasons.

Beachy has not played ball since being outrighted by the Dodgers in 2016. He was able to make two major league starts with the team after elbow tendinitis cut his opportunity short. Nothing has been heard from Beachy on the baseball front since.

Still just 31-years old, Beachy has taken time to recover his body and will now make a comeback. He signed a deal with the New Britain Bees of the independent Atlantic League.

The Braves already have one success story when it comes to coming back from multiple Tommy John Surgery in Jonny Venters. If Beachy can stay healthy, he has the talent to garner some interest in the independent league and maybe even make it back to the majors.

All of Braves Country wishes him full health and the best of luck!
