Jesse Biddle was solid for the Braves in 2018, posting a 3.11 ERA over 63.2 innings. However, he never found his footing after that. The former first round pick by the Phillies was traded to Seattle for Anthony Swarzak, and he bounced around a few times before signing another Minor League deal with the Braves in 2021. Now, Biddle has found a new home in Japan for 2022:

Even with the lockout, it was unlikely Biddle was going to sign a Major League deal after posting a 8.44 ERA over 10.2 innings in 2021. Still, it’s nice to see him getting to play baseball somewhere in 2022.
