The full Falcons schedule will be released tonight, but as of now, we have learned two new things. Atlanta will open the season at home against Philadelphia, and they will travel to London on October 10th to face the Jets.
Hey, @SpursOfficial, we’re coming for a visit!
We will play the New York Jets on October 10th in London.

I would say both of these are fantastic breaks for Atlanta. The Falcons couldn’t have dreamed of a better matchup to open the season than the Eagles. Jalen Hurts is their starting quarterback, and it will be his first opportunity to play in an entirely new system. Even a questionable Falcons defense should be able to take advantage of that.
It’s disappointing that the London game is considered a home contest for Atlanta; however, they couldn’t have picked a better opponent to match up with. The Jets are one of the worst teams in the league on paper, and the Falcons should be able to travel back across the pond with a win under their belt as long as they stick to business in London.
