The Falcons may be terrible, but they do have a few players deserving of pro bowl honors. Currently, Kyle Pitts and Younghoe Koo are leading their respective positions in votes in the NFC.

A.J. Terrell and Cordarrelle Patterson will surely garner significant votes if they continue their excellent play. Both players have been instrumental in the minimal success the Falcons have experienced as a team. Still, Pitts will be the best shot for the Falcons to send a player to the Pro Bowl. He ranks seventh in receptions (43), third in yards (635), and fourth in yards per reception (14.8). Really, Pitts should be first in that last category, ranked ahead of him: David Njoku (24 receptions), Jimmy Graham (4 receptions), and Nick Vannett (1 reception).
Koo is a bit surprising just because of the sheer volume of field goals and extra points he’s attempted. Still, he’s been as reliable as ever — 17/17 on extra points and 15/17 on field goal attempts. The two misses were both longer than 40 yards, one beyond 50 yards. The Falcons don’t have many bright spots, but these two have certainly shined. Hopefully, Terrell and Patterson receive more consideration because they deserve it.
