Several sources have reported the trade of Titans left guard Andy Levitre to the Atlanta Falcons. Vaughn Mcclure tweeted that the Falcons confirmed the trade for Levitre and in return give up a 2016 sixth-round draft pick and a future conditional pick.
Falcons confirm trade for Levitre in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick in 2016 and future conditional pick

As a top free agent, Levitre inked a 6-year, $46.8 million deal with the Titans in the 2013 offseason. He started in all 32 regular season games over the two season he spent in Tennessee. However, he lost his job in the preseason and seemed to fall out of graces with the team.
The move is definitely an intriguing one, as the Falcons are in desperate need of offensive line help, but are taking on Levitre’s whale of a contract. It also could lead to a few more moves by Atlanta in the coming days. Guard Jon Asamoah was held out of last night’s game due to “injury”. Asamoah signed a nice contract himself with the Falcons in the 2014 offseason for 5-years, $22 million. Look for Asamoah to be either cut or traded very soon.
