Falcons top 30 visits are continuing to roll in, and there are a number of intriguing prospects.
Most recently, it was a lesser-known pass rusher, an under-the-radar prospect in Western Michigan product Marshawn Kneeland that visited Flowery Branch. He proceeded Terrion Arnold who also visited on a top 30. Atlanta hosted Jared Verse two weekends ago and Quinyon Mitchell before as well.
A few weeks ago, it was Dallas Turner who visited and who most mock drafters, and I mean most, have Atlanta selecting. The Falcons also hosted a potential Kirk Cousins successor; Michael Penix visited the team at the end of March.
Now, there’s another quarterback in the building. According to Ryan Fowler, the Falcons are hosting Spencer Rattler on a top-30 visit.

Rattler sometimes gets a bad rap, especially among Falcons fans because of his ties to South Carolina and poor optics, but I actually love the idea of the Senior Bowl MVP over Michael Penix and Bo Nix.
Rattler had a successful season as a redshirt freshman with Oklahoma, tossing for over 3,000 yards and 28 touchdowns to just seven interceptions but quickly fell out of favor in Norman when Caleb Williams arrived.
Rattler’s numbers won’t blow anyone away after he eventually transferred, but if you watched any South Carolina games over the past two years, you know how poor of an offensive line the Gamecocks had. Rattler was running around for his life at times.
If the Falcons were between taking Penix/Nix or Rattler, I don’t even think that’s a debate. Rattler has as much, if not more arm talent than Penix or Nix and could be had later in the draft most likely.
