Given Calvin Ridley‘s year-long suspension from gambling on NFL games during his time away from the team, Atlanta needs an influx of talent at the position. Well, the Falcons have made their first move of the tampering period of free agency.
Falcons tendered WR Olamide Zaccheaus at the right-of-first-refusal number of $2.433 million, per @KatzBrosSports.

Basically, what this means is the Falcons will have the right to match any offer Zaccheaus receives. Coming off a career year where he recorded 31 receptions for 406 yards and three touchdowns, Zaccheaus will be 25 years old and is a key special teamer. As the team’s third or fourth receiver, Zaccheaus on a $2 million deal is reasonable value. The Falcons need to continue bolstering the position, especially after losing Russell Gage to the Bucs, but it was always going to start with their in-house free agents.
