The Falcons were decimated by injuries before their bye week, leading to an absolute throttling at the hands of the Broncos, with Bo Nix throwing for 400 yards en route to a 38-6 victory.
Atlanta was down three of its top four corners, and then Kevin King immediately went down on the first drive, leaving the Falcons secondary essentially playing practice squad players.
Unfortunately, the bye week didn’t work its magic. Though Drake London and Darnell Mooney are good to go for the club’s Week 13 contest against the Chargers, they’ll once again be shorthanded on the backend.
Raheem Morris told Atlanta media that Mike Hughes is likely out but is hoping for Dee Alford and Antonio Hamilton to return.

Hughes has been a complete revelation opposite of A.J. Terrell as one of the biggest surprises of the season. The Falcons don’t have a ton of depth at cornerback, so Alford and Hamilton being available would obviously be a great development.
The Chargers are coming off a loss to the Ravens, but Los Angeles is a good football team that has rallied around Jim Harbaugh. The Falcons getting them on a short week while they have to travel across the country is extremely fortunate, though.
