The Falcons have addressed the tight end position, signing Ryan Becker to compete for a spot behind Kyle Pitts.
We have signed TE Ryan Becker to the active roster.

Becker has yet to play in a regular-season game after signing with the Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2020 then with the Falcons in 2021. He was placed on the injured reserve list last offseason before he had a chance to make the roster.
With Lee Smith retiring and Hayden Hurst set to hit free agency, there will be more additions to the tight end room. Becker will compete with Parker Hesse and a couple of other reserve/future contract signings for what will likely be 2-3 spots behind Pitts.
Becker is a much better blocker than he is receiver, but he did have some moments during his time at SMU. I believe if he never got hurt last offseason, Becker would’ve made the team. I’d expect him to make the final 53-man roster if he’s healthy.
