The Atlanta Falcons signed punter Dom Maggio to the practice squad after placing Dustin Colquitt on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday.
We have signed P Dom Maggio to the practice squad.

Maggio was one of the first players signed by Terry Fontenot but was quickly waived at the beginning of September. He signed with the Ravens following the 2020 draft but was also released soon after. He played in 52 games at Wake Forest and was brought in early in the season to provide competition for Sterling Hofrichter, but neither punter would end up being the Falcons’ choice. Maggio is currently on the practice squad as the team weighs their options. More than likely, he will be elevated to the active roster just ahead of the Jaguars game if Dustin Colquitt cannot play.
