The Falcons have the worst receiving corps in football, so a free-agent addition at the position was always expected. However, the Falcons’ latest acquisition is nothing more than a special teams contributor. Atlanta announced the signing of KhaDarel Hodge Friday afternoon.
We have signed WR KhaDarel Hodge to a one-year contract.

It’s a one-year deal for Hodge, who played last season on Detroit and the previous two in Cleveland. Before the Browns, Hodge spent his rookie season with the Rams but has been nothing more than a special teams contributor.
He totaled 13 receptions for 157 yards during last season with the Lions, and I doubt those numbers improve at all in Atlanta. The Falcons must add to the wideout position because it is lacking even average talent at this point.
