Despite offseason training activities beginning around the league, teams are still tweaking rosters. On Wednesday, the Falcons signed former Titans wideout Cameron Batson, according to his agent and Adam Schefter.
Former Titans’ WR Cameron Batson, who tore his ACL last fall and has been cleared just seven months after surgery, is signing with the Atlanta Falcons, per source. His agent, @camRONweiss, confirmed the deal.

Atlanta’s receiving core is missing a true burner who can take the top off of defenses, and Batson is that speedster. He is coming off a torn ACL, and never really caught on in Tennessee, so I’d expect him to be nothing but a camp body.
Batson recorded 22 receptions for nearly 200 yards and two touchdowns in 27 games over three seasons with the Titans. His most productive year came in 2020 when he recorded 12 catches for 100 yards and a touchdown. The Falcons do need a deep threat in the receiving core, so it’ll be interesting to see how he does in camp.
