Following the hiring of Frank Reich, the Carolina Panthers have effectively guaranteed Steve Wilks and Al Holcomb joining a new team, and the Atlanta Falcons look like a landing spot, according to Mike Garfolo.
As far as what happens with Steve Wilks? Mike Garfolo saying that the Falcons could be interested in bringing both Wilks and Al Holcomb down I-85 South.
Ian Rapoport says to look at Gus Bradley as a possible DC. He's still under contract in Indianapolis.

The Falcons are searching for a defensive coordinator to replace Dean Pees, who retired following the season finale. Atlanta has cast a wide net, interviewing more than a handful of candidates, including the top names on the market — Brian Flores and Vic Fangio.
Reports surfaced that the Falcons would be ‘monitoring’ the situation in Carolina with Wilks. It was speculated that Reich would get the job, effectively casting Wilks out into the hiring pool. There was always very little chance the interim would stay on with the new staff following being passed over for the head coaching position.
After being egregiously fired by the Cardinals following his first season, Wilks had a couple of stops in Cleveland and Missouri before landing in Carolina on Matt Rhule’s staff. The new Nebraska head coach was fired, and Wilks assumed interim head coaching duties. He led a ragtag bunch with tumultuous quarterback play to a .500 record over the final 12 games, almost squeaking into the playoffs.
Wilks’ players bought into whatever he was selling. I wouldn’t mind the Falcons bringing him in with Al Holcomb, who was the interim defensive coordinator under Wilks, to handle that side of the ball.
