There’s not much to get excited about this time of year for football fans, but the Falcons did release their rookie jersey numbers, which can be seen below.

Penix hangs onto the #9 that he wore for the University of Washington. The number belonged to Desmond Ridder before him, so let’s hope he makes it look a little better throughout his Falcons career.
Second round pick Ruke Orhorhoro also sticks with his collegiate number, while Bralen Trice will wear #48 after wearing #8 at Washington. 48 was previously worn by Bud Dupree, who remains a free agent and the Falcons reportedly have interest in bringing back.
