The Falcons made a flurry of moves in the final moments of the NFL trade deadline, including moving Calvin Ridley and acquiring Rashad Fenton. Atlanta sent Ridley to Jacksonville and sent Kansas City a seventh-round pick for Fenton. Now, reports surfaced the Falcons have recouped that draft selection in a trade that sent Dean Marlowe to the Bills.
Another trade: Bills also acquired S Dean Marlowe from the Falcons in exchange for a 2023 7th-round pick.

The Bills were thin at safety, with Micah Hyde hitting the injured reserve list at the beginning of the year and Jordan Poyer banged up. Marlowe wasn’t much more than a special teams contributor for the Falcons, and with Jaylinn Hawkins likely returning this week after missing the Panthers game with a concussion, Marlowe’s services are no longer needed.
