2020 has represented the Falcons season thus far extremely well — absolutely nothing has gone right. From five consecutive losses, to injuries, to the firings of multiple coaches and the general manager, it almost seems as if nothing else could possibly go wrong, and then of course, something does. Today, the Falcons placed their second-round pick, Marlon Davidson, on the Reserve/Covid-19 list.

Davidson is now the second Falcons rookie to contract the virus. First-round pick A.J. Terrell tested positive, and it forced him to miss two games before returning last week against the Panthers. However, the Falcons were at least able to limit the spread to just Terrell. Hopefully, that is the case with Davidson as well because we’ve seen just how easily one positive test can turn into eight.
