Adam Schefter provided us some positive news this morning when there are not many positive things to say about the Falcons.
Some good injury news for a change: Falcons’ RT Kaleb McGary suffered a minor sprained MCL and is expected to miss only one week, per source.

Matt Gono played well in McGary’s absence, but it’s clear this team needs all the help they can get. McGary’s injury was non contact at the time, and it was concerning this was going to be something long term like a tear. The Falcons get Chicago next week — which means Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks. This will be a big test for Matt Gono, and if Atlanta is going to get on the winning track, he must be at the top of his game. The Falcons O-Line did a great job of protecting Matt Ryan Sunday, only allowing one sack.
