The Falcons received great news on the injury front less than a week away from their first game on Sunday against the Seahawks. Dan Quinn said that both Matt Hennessy and Marlon Davidson will return to practice this week, meaning they should be ready for Week 1.

Davidson hasn’t participated much in training camp thanks to a bone bruise in his knee. Quinn said last week they will likely take things slow with him as they get him up to speed, so we will see how many reps they give him in his first NFL game against Seattle.
Another rookie, Matt Hennessy, has been one of the standouts in training camp. While they haven’t announced it yet, there’s a feeling that he will end up winning the starting job at left guard, which is pretty impressive considering there was no preseason for rookies to get their feet wet. The Falcons are expecting big things in year one from both of these players, and it’s fantastic that they are returning to full health just before the start of the 2020 campaign.
