The Falcons continue to add to the roster, the latest being a flurry of free agent additions, re-signing Kyle Hinton, Elijah Wilkinson, and Josh Woods.
Hinton signed with Atlanta in 2023 after three seasons with the Vikings on Minnesota’s practice squad. He played in 16 games and even made a start during that 2023 campaign. He came into training camp last year as one of the team’s top interior reserve linemen and will look to do the same this year.
Wilkinson’s first stint with the Falcons came back in 2022, when he started nine games for Atlanta under Arthur Smith. He left in 2023 and played 10 games for the Cardinals, starting nine of them. He returned to Atlanta last year but didn’t get much burn.
Woods signed with the Falcons practice squad in 2024, elevated to the active roster for the final few games of the season, logging all 89 of snaps on special teams and making one tackle. Another undrafted free agent, he spent two seasons with the Bears and another with the Lions before arriving in Atlanta.
All three will be battling for reserve spots, with Hinton most likely to earn a spot on the final 53-man roster.
