After taking over for Matt Bryant in the middle of last season, Younghoe Koo did enough to earn himself another one-year contract with the team. He made 23 of his 26 field-goal attempts and 15 of his 16 extra-point tries while also proving to be an onside kick maestro in the Falcons Thanksgiving game against the Saints. However, with a non-existent track record before his stint with Atlanta, it would be wise for the Falcons to bring some competition in for Koo this offseason, and according to Dan Quinn, they are considering it.
Dan Quinn said a kicker could be added for competition for Koo

Atlanta currently has 89 players on their roster, meaning they have one open spot left. Quinn said, because of the restrictions due to the virus, they haven’t been able to work out a kicker, which is a reason why they haven’t signed another one yet. We will see if this is the last move they have up their sleeve. Given they won’t have any cap space until June 2nd, when they receive the money for cutting Desmond Trufant, it most likely will be until then.
