The Cowboys came to Atlanta needing a victory, and the Falcons didn’t really ever let it get close, despite what the box score would indicate. The frustration showed on Dallas’ sideline, with Dak Prescott caught on camera saying, “We f*cking suck.”

Of course, there could be a possibility that he was referring to something else, but America’s Team falling to 3-5 in the way they did certainly would prompt that kind of comment.
Adding injury to insult, Prescott went down late in the third quarter with a hamstring, CeeDee Lamb hurt his shoulder, and Ezekial Elliott didn’t even make the trip. The Cowboys were ready to be broken, and it seems the Falcons may have helped them along.
There’s no scenario I see where Jerry Jones lets Mike McCarthy keep his job. The Falcons aren’t world beaters by any means, and the Cowboys didn’t even look competent for much of the afternoon on Sunday.
McCarthy, Dak Prescott, Mike Zimmer, Jerry Jones, and everyone involved in the organization should be held accountable, but more than likely, Prescott will survive another head coach firing.
Meanwhile, the Falcons extended their record to 6-3 for the first time since 2016. With the Buccaneers losing to the Chiefs on Monday Night Football, winning the NFC South has never felt more attainable.
