This afternoon, Dan Quinn talked about the final injury report leading up to the Falcons Thanksgiving night matchup with the Saints. In promising news, running back Devonta Freeman, who has missed the past two games with a foot sprain, will be active – according to William McFadden of the team’s official site.

Unfortunately, Austin Hooper has already been ruled out. He tried to give it a go earlier in the week, but it was always going to be unlikely for him to play on Thanksgiving. The Pro-Bowl tight end suffered an MCL sprain the last time these two teams faced.
Also, Julio Jones is going to be a game-time decision after injuring his shoulder in last week’s game versus the Bucs. He did participate in a walkthrough, but the Falcons won’t know until he tests it out tomorrow.
Dan Quinn the decision with Julio Jones will come down to how he feels before the game, that he has full strength in shoulder and contact.

Given his nature, however, he will be doing everything in his power to be out there. Jones is a consummate professional and ultra-competitive. He wants to beat the Saints as much as anyone. Whether Jones is active or not, expect Calvin Ridley to be a focal point of tomorrow’s gameplan. He has over 200 yards receiving and two touchdowns in his last two contests.
