While competing in the NBA’s 2K Tournament, featured on ESPN, Andre Drummond asked his opponent, DeMarcus Cousins, what is the craziest poster he’s witnessed in his career. Cousins responded whether or not the dunk had to be professionally or just overall, to which Drummond responded at any time, and Cousins came back with an answer nobody expected — Julio Jones — from his high school days. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there is any video evidence. Cousins even went as far as to say his teammate found the tape and disposed of it because it is the only film from high school they can’t find.
But for Falcons fans, this comes as no shock. Not only is Jones one of the most gifted receivers to touch the gridiron, but he’s also one of the best overall athletes. Standing at 6’3″ with a ridiculous 38.5-inch vert, I’m sure he delivered plenty of jaw-dropping slams in high school. Unfortunately, after a brief search through Youtube, I couldn’t find any videos of him dunking, but let’s band together and try to discover some footage of Jones on the hardwood, especially since most of us have a bit of extra time on our hands these days
