Unfortunately, this won’t be the week of the highly anticipated return of Deion Jones. The Pro-Bowl linebacker was activated from IR earlier this week, but Dan Quinn deemed he’s not quite ready for game action yet.
Dan Quinn said Deion Jones is close but not ready yet

Hopefully, Jones will be healthy for an always tough road matchup with the division-leading Saints. However, that game takes place on Thanksgiving, so Jones doesn’t have much time between now and then to improve his status.
In better news, Matt Bryant will be back on the field this week.

Bryant missed the last three games with a hamstring injury he suffered against Tampa Bay. Giorgio Tavecchio was lights out in his place, going 5/5 on his field goal attempts and 8/8 on extra points, but this was always going to be Matt Bryant’s job. If nothing else, Tavecchio proved he is more than capable of being an NFL kicker especially considering all the struggles we have seen around the league.
