The Falcons are hoping to get a couple Pro-Bowlers back for their showdown with the Dallas Cowboys at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.
Most importantly, Deion Jones has been activated from Injured-Reserve. His presence would be a much needed boost to a Falcons defense that made Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb look like the Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith. Dan Quinn hasn’t revealed for sure that Jones will be playing, reiterating they are taking it step by step. However, he did say on Thursday that Jones will be receiving a few extra reps in practice.

Hopefully, that’s another step towards him being on the field come Sunday.
Quinn also commented on Matt Bryant, who has been out since injuring his hamstring in the process of bombing a late 57-yard field goal against the Bucs.
Dan Quinn on Matt Bryant: He feels strong. Will kick today and see how it goes. #Falcons

Bryant has been a rock over his ten seasons with the Falcons. He will definitely be welcomed back with open arms when ready to return, but the team has no need to rush him. His replacement, Giorgio Tavecchio, has done a fantastic job in his absence, going 8/8 on extra points and 5/5 of field goal attempts.
