The Falcons received some positive news regarding Devonta Freeman who has been out since week one with a knee injury.
#Falcons coach Dan Quinn says on 92.9 The Game that RB Devonta Freeman (knee) is expected to play Sunday vs. the #Steelers, but DT Grady Jarrett (ankle) will be out.

However, 2018 injury reports can never be all good for the Falcons, as Quinn also stated that Grady Jarrett will miss Sunday’s game with an ankle issue.
Jarrett has been a stalwart on the Atlanta defensive line since being drafted in the fifth-round of 2015. With the likes of Keanu Neal, Ricardo Allen and Deion Jones already missing, Jarrett really was the heart of what’s left of the defense. His absence will undoubtedly be felt on a team that has allowed 80 points over the last two games.
Freeman, on the other hand, will look to rejoin Tevin Coleman in the backfield, making this offense even more dynamic moving forward. Even though Atlanta has shredded opposing defenses the last three weeks, the run game hasn’t always been there. Having Freeman back will bring some power and ferociousness to the Falcons ground attack.
