Arthur Smith made an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show this morning, and of course, Eisen asked the burning question that is on the mind of every Falcons fan. Will Julio Jones suit up for Atlanta in week one?
When it's all said and done, will we see Julio Jones on the #Falcons roster this season?

Of course, Smith gave a pretty diplomatic answer, but it’s starting to become concerning that Atlanta may end up dealing their star wide receiver. I gave my thoughts on the situation on Twitter:
In Re Julio Jones rumors:
I just dont see Fontenot and Smith going one foot in & one foot out on a rebuild after they drafted a tight end fourth overall. Addition by subtraction just makes no sense immediately after saying you want to win now. Just extend Grady Jarrett.

However, the Falcons do have to get under the cap somehow. I think the move that makes the most sense is extending Grady Jarrett and possibly even Matt Ryan. I prefer to wait until seeing how Ryan plays under Arthur Smith, but extending Jarrett is a no-brainer. He’s easily the best defensive player on the Falcons, and hopefully, he wants to be one of the building blocks of a new-look defense for years to come. One thing’s for sure, something has to give, and as a fan, I sure hope it isn’t trading away my favorite player.
