Another wideout is reportedly on the trade market: Kadarius Toney. The Giants are looking to trade their 2021 first-rounder, and many believe that New York could get a Day 2 pick in return for the young receiver.Â

Upside
Kadarius Toney could be an incredible addition to the Atlanta offense. He has electric speed, unreal agility, and insane playmaking abilities. Toney does some crazy stuff on the field, juking and evading defenders. Although he didn’t get the ball much with New York last season, he made the most of the chances he got; the former Gator recorded 10.1 yards per touch. A single look at his highlights shows what he can do:

Downside
The talent is there, but there has to be a reason the Giants are willing to trade Toney so fast. His work ethic has been questioned in New York, with reports coming out of him not studying playbooks or attending meetings. Additionally, Toney didn’t report to the Giant’s voluntary offseason program. Combine that with injuries, and the organization is clearly fed up with Toney. However, he may be too talented for Atlanta to ignore.
Overall, Toney was a monster on the field for Florida. Seemingly every time he touched the ball, he scored or picked up a huge chunk of yardage. While there are concerns, he could end up being the highest value option for Atlanta. I’d pull the trigger if all it takes is a second- or third-rounder to acquire a young, talented receiver on his rookie contract. Toney is more of a proven commodity than the projected second-round receivers are. Compare that to the far more expensive Deebo Samuel, and it makes sense: Toney brings the same versatility and talent to the table, but Deebo also has an injury history. If the Falcons want to get a new receiver, Toney might be their best option.    Â
