In what should basically be a formality, AJ Terrell will have his fifth-year option picked up by the Falcons barring an extension:
#Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is the first player from the 2020 NFL Draft to have his 5th-year option picked up.
The option is fully-guaranteed and each player has a different value.

Terrell is slated to make $12.344 million, falling under the “playing time” category of player:
3. Playing time: These players didn’t make a Pro Bowl, but their snap counts during their first three seasons meet one of the following three requirements: a) 75% or greater in two of their first three seasons b) an average of 75% or greater over all three seasons. c) 50% or greater over all three seasons. These players will have their fifth-year base salary calculated from the average of the 3rd- to 25th-highest salaries at their position over the past five seasons.
Terrell is well worth the money, he’s going to get a lot more expensive as the Falcons look to lock him up long-term.
