Some good news for the Falcons today, as they’ve activated three players from the reserve/COVID-19 list — rookie Jaylinn Hawkins, Foyesade Oluokun, and Danny Etling — ESPN’s Vaughn Mcclure reports.

Judging by how quick these players were able to return, it makes you wonder if any of them tested positive, or if their absence was a result of false positives. The team cannot comment on player absences; only the players themselves can make it public if they tested positive or not. Last week, Mcclure confirmed two Falcons did test positive for the virus — Jamal Carter and Keith Smith. They were asymptomatic, but it could still be a while before they return to the team. The status of Tyeler Davison — the only other player on the reserve/COVID-19 list — remains unknown, but Mcclure speculates that he is close to returning.
The guys still on the COVID-19 list are Tyeler Davison, Keith Smith, and Jamal Carter. Both Smith and Carter tested positive but were asymptomatic, according to sources. Unclear on Davison’s status. Team cannot comment on players. Davison seems close to return, though.
