Thomas Dimitroff thought outside the box to address the EDGE rusher position on Friday, acquiring Charles Harris from the Miami Dolphins:

This comes about a week after the Falcons were not able to add a pass rusher through the Draft due to the way the board shook out. Harris will serve as a depth piece, joining a group that features Dante Fowler, John Cominsky, and Takk McKinley — likely taking Atlanta out of the running for another edge rusher in free agency.

Harris has frankly been a disappointment since entering the league, only accounting for 3.5 sacks in three seasons. However, he was a first-round pick in 2017 and is a better fit in Atlanta than he was in Miami. Hopefully, the Falcons can pry out a little more production.
