The last member of the Falcons to win Rookie of the Year was Matt Ryan in 2008. In the first season without the stalwart quarterback in more than a decade, Atlanta will have a decent shot of boasting another winner of the award. Below are the 2022 Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year odds:
- Kenny Pickett +500
- Drake London +700
- Treylon Burks +800
- Breece Hall +800
- Christian Watson +800
- Garrett Wilson +900
- Kenneth Walker IIIÂ +1000
- Chris Olave +1000
- Skyy Moore +1000
- Jameson Williams +1200
- James Cook +1400
- Desmond Ridder +1600
- Jahan Dotson +1800
- Matt Corral +2000
- Dameon Pierce +2500
- Malik Willis +2500
- Jalen Tolbert +3300
- George Pickens +4000
- Kyren Williams +4000
- David Bell +4000
- Carson Strong +4000
- Trey McBride +5000
- Isaiah Spiller +5000
- Sam Howell +5000
- John Metchie IIIÂ +5000
- Rachaad White +5000
- Tyler Allgeier +5000
Drake London should have an immediate impact in Arthur Smith’s offense. From the moment he reports to camp, the USC product will be the top wideout in the receiver room. He has a decent chance to eclipse 1,000 yards. With Kyle Pitts garnering double teams, London should be a reliable second option for Marcus Mariota or Desmond Ridder, who is a longshot for the award.
Burks will likely have a similar impact in Tennessee as London will in Atlanta, but the odds reflect the Falcons trotting out Kyle Pitts while the Titans’ pass-catching core boasts Robert Woods as the No. 1 option. Hall was the highest-drafted running back this year, but New York’s offense shouldn’t be explosive enough for him to threaten.
Allgeier is a name to watch. He could easily warrant as many touches as Breece Hall, and +5000 odds could prove to be a tantalizing option for some degenerates. The Falcons don’t have many defenders in the mix of things, but Arnold Ebiketie has the best odds.
- Aidan Hutchinson +500
- Kayvon Thibodeaux +550
- Travon Walker +700
- Kyle Hamilton +800
- Quay Walker +800
- Jermaine Johnson +900
- Derek Stingley, Jr. +900
- Devin Lloyd +1000
- Ahmad Gardner +1000
- Nakobe Dean +1600
- Jordan Davis +1800
- George Karlaftis +2000
- Kaiir Elam +2200
- Trent McDuffie +2500
- Andrew Booth Jr. +2500
- Devonte Wyatt +2800
- Daxton Hill +3300
- Roger McCreary +4000
- Lewis Cine +4000
- Kyler Gordon +4000
- Drake Jackson +5000
- Arnold Ebiketie +5000
If Ebiketie can produce immediately, he should have no problem making noise in the Defensive Rookie of the Year race. Pass rushers are always easier to build narratives around because the results are tangible, while defensive backs are hardly recognized because if they’re doing their jobs, you won’t hear their names often. Ebiketie doesn’t have much competition ahead of him to get on the field either, so he should garner enough opportunities to make a substantial impact during his rookie year.
