The Falcons are coming off a crushing defeat by the Commanders. It was crushing because Atlanta probably should’ve come out of Week 6 with a victory, dominating Washington in most facets of the game, except for a trio of interceptions from Desmond Ridder that proved to be too difficult to overcome.
They were home favorites, but that won’t be the case this week. The Buccaneers are hosting the divisional tilt in Tampa Bay as field goal favorites. Ridder has yet to win a game away from Atlanta, and experts around media don’t think that changes in Week 7.

The Falcons aren’t expected to win this one, and why should they be? Desmond Ridder has yet to notch his first victory away from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Todd Bowles’ defense is as tough as any the young quarterback has faced.
This one could be ugly, depending on which Baker Mayfield and Desmond Ridder show up. Both are inclined to turn the ball over, and the defenses are among the best in football right now. Whoever wins the turnover battles will more than likely come out of Week 7 in first place of the NFC South.
