The Falcons originally drafted the Kentucky product in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft; Peters spent the next five seasons in Atlanta before moving on to Arizona, spending six seasons with the Cardinals. He finished his career in Jacksonville with the Jaguars in 2022.
If we are being honest, the Falcons should’ve never let him out of Flowery Branch. He was a more than solid player, incredibly durable, and a consummate professional. Peters accounted for 21 tackles for loss and 11 sacks during his five seasons in Atlanta.
Congratulations to Corey Peters on a very respectable career; spending over a decade in the NFL is no small feat.
