The Falcons will be traveling to Maimi for their August 11 preseason contest against the Dolphins, and it was just revealed by Cameron Wolfe that the two clubs will participate in joint practices prior to the exhibition game.
The #Dolphins will host the #Falcons for joint practices Tuesday August 8th & Wednesday August 9th ahead of their Aug.11 preseason game in Miami Gardens, sources tell me.
Practices will be open to fans at Baptist Health Training Complex. Should be a fun week. pic.twitter.com/4gXYXyacsi

Last year, the club squared off with the Jaguars and Jets in joint practices, and this cycle is a rematch of the 2021 joint practices between Miami and Atlanta.
This will be an excellent litmus test for the Falcons. The Dolphins are an elite roster with talent all over the field. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will provide great competition for the Falcons’ new-look secondary — Jessie Bates III, Jeff Okudah, Mike Hughes, and Clark Phillips.
Terron Armstead remains one of the best players at his position and will provide an opportunity for Arnold Ebiketie and DeAngelo Malone to see where they are at in their respective developments.
Emmanuel Ogbah, Christian Wilkins, and Jaelan Phillips will give the Falcons’ offensive line some tough battles while simultaneously seeing if Matthew Bergeron can handle an elite interior defender in Wilkins.
The Dolphins’ new cornerback duo of Jalen Ramsey and Xavien Howard promises to be one of the best in the league. Drake London and Kyle Pitts have to be licking their lips at the thought of competing against two of the best corners in the game.
There are a dozen other individual matchups to watch for, which we will go over in the days leading up to the joint practices.
