As Alex wrote about earlier this week, the Falcons running back room was left completely off Charles Davis and Paul Burmeister of the 33rd Team’s list of the best rushing attacks in football.
We chose to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake, because if it wasn’t, it shows how little they have been paying attention to the entire league. The Falcons boasted one of the best rookie rushers in the league last season as well as Cordarrelle Patterson, and now they have added one of the best running back prospects we’ve seen over the last two decades. Add in Desmond Ridder’s mobility, and this group is going to be nearly untouchable on the ground.
Which begs the question: Will the Falcons have the best rushing attack in football in 2023?
On the latest episode of SportsTalkATL, we discuss if anyone will be better at running the football this season than Arthur Smith’s bunch in Atlanta.
