According to Marc Stein, the Clippers are putting All-Star wing Paul George on the trade block to gauge his value.

Who knows how serious the Clippers are about moving Paul George, but they are reaching the point where they have to consider offers on George and Kawhi Leonard. It will take a lot to pry either of them away from Los Angeles, but the Hawks could probably make a pretty enticing trade package.
Any deal for George would likely have to start with Dejounte Murray, which is the type of swap that could entice both teams. The Hawks get another All-Star to pair with Trae Young, who has a higher upside and would pair better with their star point guard. On the flip side, Murray is younger and has proven to be much more durable than George.
Murray wouldn’t be enough alone to bring George to Atlanta, but the Hawks could also offer a combination of young players and proven starters to also send to Los Angeles. Clint Capela, De’Andre Hunter, and John Collins could fit in Los Angeles, and Onyeka Okongwu is a player many teams value highly. The Hawks could also look to move Jalen Johnson, AJ Griffin, and draft picks to sweeten the deal for the Clippers.
It would be quite the risk for the front office in Atlanta, but this is a team that is at a crossroads. They are looking to make moves and rolling the dice on George could pay dividends if he’s able to stay healthy. The Hawks are an under the radar team to watch out for in these conversations. Adrian Wojnarowski has already reported they are among the most active teams in trade talks, and they have the firepower to swing a blockbuster trade.
