With Chop Fest underway this weekend, the Braves have started to reveal some tidbits of information to get the fans excited:
#Braves have been focused on outfielders in recent talks, Anthopoulos said possible that could add one before much longer, that there’s situation that could be resolved soon with one. Also continue looking at starters and relievers. Said some FA talks could stretch into spring.

This at least tells us that the Braves are officially pursuing outfielders. While it has been quite obvious this would be the biggest hole to fill, many reports out there suggested that the Braves could go into next season giving Adam Duvall a crack at redemption, likely sharing duties with Johan Camargo and Charlie Culberson, and perhaps Austin Riley if his outfield experiment goes well in Spring Training. This should give fans some peace of mind that Anthopoulos is likely to make a deal to solidify the outfield.
It also gives the illusion that a potential deal could be very close.
Anthopoulos’ current primary focus is to add an outfielder. He said there are three OFs still available via free agency or trade who could fit the Braves’ roster.

Mark Bowman says that the Braves are looking at three options. At least they have options, and you could figure that Nick Markakis is among one of them. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming week.
